Dolores M. Pfaff

Dolores M. Pfaff, 95, a resident of Pinecrest Manor and formerly of 523 Armory Rd., died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013 at the Pinecrest Manor after an illness of the past several months.
She was born Sept. 17, 1919, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Joseph and Caroline Fritz Schloder. On June 3, 1941, in the Sacred Heart Church, she married William L. Pfaff, and he preceded her in death on May 12, 1980.
Mrs. Pfaff was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys schools. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church, enjoyed going to polka dances and going to the casino, and enjoyed her dog Maggie.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne Gerber and her husband Gerald of St. Marys; a son, William J. Pfaff and his wife Joan of St. Marys; four grandchildren, Kathy DeMauro and her husband Frank, Douglas Gerber and his wife Jill, Gretchen Struble and her husband Norman, and Jill Gregory and her husband Bill; five great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Paul Silk of Wilcox.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Laverne Schloder, Clarence Schloder, Wilfred Schloder, Lawrence Schloder, John Schloder, and William Schloder. She was the last member of her immediate family.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores M. Pfaff will be celebrated in the Sacred Hearth Church on Wednesday, Nov. 27 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m.
