Donald J. Vogt, 63, of 224 Pear Rd., St. Marys, died unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, April 26, 2012.
He was born Sept. 9, 1948, a son of the late James Vogt and Emma Petrucelli Vogt of St. Marys.
Donny was a lifelong resident of the area and attended St. Marys Area schools. He was a Vietnam veteran, having served in the Army 82nd Sig Battalion Airborne Division. He enjoyed hunting, ï¬shing and riding his motorcycle.Â
He is survived by three sisters, Jane, Mrs. Thomas Doran of Colorado, Janet Rote of Franklin, Ohio, and Sharon Santos of Baltimore, Md.; a niece, Chivonne Haberberger and her ï¬ance Cory Lupro; two nephews, Kyle and Jesse Rote; and a great-nephew, Shane Haberberger.
A Memorial Mass for Donald J. Vogt is being scheduled and will be announced at a later date.
There will be no visitation.
