In an effort to protect students, visitors and school property, St. Marys Area School District looks to their network of security cameras in tracking daily activity within the schools and a recent donation of two new 50-inch televisions to St. Marys Area High School has played a role in significantly enhancing the visibility of the cameras' footage.
School Police Officer John Lovett utilizes the televisions as computer monitors for the multi-camera system which encompasses just over 50 cameras at the high school as well as those located at the middle school and each elementary school in Bennetts Valley, Fox Township, and St. Marys.
