Dorothy Gigliotti-Hetrick

Dorothy Gigliotti-Hetrick, 69, of East Long Avenue, DuBois, died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013 at the DuBois Nursing Home following a short illness.
She was born on June 7, 1943 in Sligo, daughter of Luella (Smith) Wolff of DuBois and the late James Wolff.
She was born and raised in Falls Creek/DuBois area and enjoyed spending much of her time with family members on Gardner Hill in Weedville.  She lived in Johnsonburg for 40 years and had been back in DuBois for the past 10 years.She was a graduate of DuBois Area High School and worked as a homemaker. She volunteered at the DuBois Senior Center.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a very dear friend, Richard Johnson of DuBois; four children, Anna (Raymond) Kreckel of Johnsonburg, Amy (Matthew) Nedrow of Bellefonte, James (Shereen) Nortum of Florida, and William Nortum of West Virginia; nine grandchildren; and one sister, Donna (John Jr.) Overdorf of DuBois.
She was predeceased by her father.
Funeral services for Dorothy Gigliotti-Hetrick will take place on Thursday, Jan. 17 at 11 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home of Penfield, with the Rev. Tim Connor officiating. Burial will take place at the Gardner Hill Cemetery in Weedville.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials to the Johnsonburg Senior Center of the DuBois Free Medical Clinic.
