A Kersey resident recently received the most overall votes in the Pennsylvania Parks and Forest Foundation’s “Take Five in the Outdoors” photo contest.
Tom Dorsey of Kersey won the "People's Choice Best in Show" award for his photo of a doe and fawn standing in the water at Oil Creek State Park in Venango County.
“The light and background was absolutely perfect. I captured at least 25 images as the fawn held different poses as if modeling for my camera,” Dorsey said. “Just seeing this beautiful scene was lucky enough, but to photograph it was over the top.”
