Dr. Jerome W. Poulliott Jr.

Dr. Jerome W. Poulliott Jr., 82, of 560 Church St., St. Marys, died on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Hamot Medical Center in Erie.
He was born Sept. 10, 1929 in Williamsport, a son of the late Jerome W. and Sarah Catherine Fague Poulliott.
On June 29, 1957 in Philadelphia, he married Kathleen Kearney Poulliott, who survives.
Dr. Poulliott was a member of St. Mary's Church. He served in the U.S. Air Force in Saudi Arabia from 1957-1959. He received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, his medical degree from Temple University and served his internship and surgical residency at Germantown Hospital in Philadelphia. He was a board-certified surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He enjoyed reading and cooking. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. 
In addition to his beloved wife of nearly 55 years, Kathleen Kearney Poulliott, he is survived by three sons, Michael Poulliott and his wife Patti of St. Marys, Daniel Poulliott of St. Marys, Joseph Poulliott and his wife Michele of Coraopolis; three daughters, Kathleen, Mrs. Michael Cortina of St. Marys, Maureen Poulliott of Bethel Park and Patricia, Mrs. Dennis McGinley of Arnold, Md.; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one brother, James Poulliott of New York City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph Poulliott.
Relatives and friends of Dr. Jerome W. Poulliott Jr. are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, Church Street, St. Marys, on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at noon with the Rev. Eric Vogt, O.S.B., as celebrant. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
