Dutch baseball edges Ridgway 1-0 in nine innings

Photo by Greg Reedy Caleb Bennett threw five shutout innings for St. Marys and had a double during a 1-0 win in nine innings for the Dutch over the Elkers Tuesday afternoon.

Missed opportunities were becoming the norm as St. Marys Area and Ridgway continued to pile up zeroes on the linescore Tuesday afternoon.
St. Marys broke that trend in the ninth, broke the scoreless tie and came away with the victory.
A Shane Haberberger one-out single brought home RJ Johnston to give the Dutch the only run of the game in a 1-0, nine-inning victory over Ridgway Tuesday afternoon at Sandy Beach Recreational Park.
