Dutch golfers down Kane Wolves

The St. Marys Area Flying Dutch golf team improved to 2-0 in dual matches with a 238-254 win over the Kane Wolves Tuesday afternoon at the Bavarian Hills Golf Course.
The Dutchmen were led by medalist Rudy Gleixner with his 43. Gleixner was followed by Justin Beimel with a 48, and Owen Schreiber, Quinn Cunningham and Dillon Gallagher, all with 49s. Jordan Wehler carded a 51 while Kyle Pistner and Garrett Wendel each finished with 52s.
For the Wolves, Dan Park had a 45, followed by Dustin Woodcook 50, Austin Hoag 52, Jamie Rook 53, Andy Bundy 54, Trace Gordon 59 and Derek Bundy 60.
“I was happy to see Rudy (Gleixner) back on his game,” said St. Marys coach Dan Vollmer.
The Dutchmen return to action Thursday when they play host to the Elk County Catholic Crusaders at 3:30 p.m. at Bavarian Hills Golf Course.
