STRATTANVILLE - The St. Marys Area Flying Dutch football team shut out the Clarion-Limestone Lions by a 35-0 score Friday night.
The Dutchmen scored on four of their first five possessions last night to build a 28-0 halftime lead.
The Dutch scored early in the third period to take a 35-0 lead and put the mercy rule into effect.
“This was a good rebound for us after last week’s loss,” said St. Marys coach Joe Schlimm. “We were up against an undermanned team and I feel for them.”
