The lively antics of a green ogre, his donkey companion, a feisty princess and a host of other fairy tale characters is being brought to the stage of Elk County Catholic High School in "Shrek the Musical."
Audiences can take in the musical comedy Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickets are available for children and adult admissions. Following the Sunday performance, children will have the opportunity to go onstage and be photographed with the characters, the set, and the dragon.
"My first criteria in choosing a show is what is going to showcase the talent of our students. This show certainly does that," said ECC musical director/producer Ted Hanes.
