ECC head tennis coach Nick Caggiano recently expressed the hope that, by the time his current sophomore players Drew Meyer and Alan Brennen were seniors, they might find themselves facing off for the District 9 Class AA singles title. On Monday Meyer and Brennen exceeded his expectations and achieved that goal as sophomores, working their way through the Class AA bracket to set up an all ECC final where Meyer emerged victorious 6-0, 6-1.
