Students from Elk County Catholic High School, Middle School, and Elementary School recently presented a check for $2,400 to staff members at Elk Regional Health Center. The money was raised through the sale of pink breast cancer awareness T-shirts by students in kindergarten through 12th grade and also included donations from a dress-down day held during the month of October. The funds will be used for women's health initiatives at ERHC. Pictured, front row, from left, are Dominic Zambanini, grade 3; Grace Neubert, grade 1, Sophie Neubert, grade 5; and Alexa Chamberlin, kindergarten; middle row, Laura Lorenzo, lead charge nurse for maternity; Peyton Stoltz, grade 7; Tara Trumbull, grade 11; Sophia Assalone, grade 11; Lisa Housler, director of ancillary services; and Sara Myers, unit manager of maternity; and back row, Nate DaCanal, grade 8; Paulette Schreiber, nurse practitioner of women's health; and Lacy Nicklas, human resources.
