Edna Kronenwetter

Edna Kronenwetter, 87, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home for the past eight years and a former resident of Elk Towers, died Sunday, May 8, 2011 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Bally, Pa., daughter of the late Harvey H. and Mary K. Strouse Gehman.
She attended Bally Schools and had resided in St. Marys since 1991. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
She is survived by a stepson, Sylvester Kronenwetter Jr. and his wife Erma of St. Marys; a stepdaughter, Maryann Harlan of Port Frederick, MD and by several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Kronenwetter Sr.; a stepdaughter, Florence Geci; a stepson, Robert E. Kronenwetter; four sisters, Kathryn, Mabel, Esther and Ruth; and by four brothers, Enos, Leroy, Melvin and Paul Gehman.
She was the last member of her immediate family.
Family and friends of Edna Kronenwetter are invited to attend a funeral service to be held in the Lynch Radkowski Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 10, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Kindle, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
