Edward S. Levanduski

Edward S. Levanduski, 80, of Pine Avenue, Force, died Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at Penn Highlands-DuBois after a short illness.
He was born Sept. 3, 1933 in Tyler, son of the late James and Bernice (Sadowski) Levanduski.
On Sept. 3, 1955, he married Josephine (Skrzypek), and she survives.
He was a graduate of Huston Township High School, Class of 1952, and retired from Airco Speer in 1996 after 42 years.
He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force. He enjoyed the Steelers, Pirates, hunting and especially his dog “Shabby.”
He lived all his life in Bennetts Valley.
In addition to his wife, Josephine (Skrzypek) Levanduski of Force, he is survived by two children, Joyce Baughman and fiance Keith “Woodchuck” Spong of St. Mary, and Edward “Buzzy” and his wife Mary Levanduski of Weedville; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three brothers, and one sister.
He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Edward S. Levanduski will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 8 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force with Father Thomas Tyler.
There will be no visitation. The family will be receiving friends from 9-10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 8 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force.
Interment will be in St. Joseph Church Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Force.
