Eileen J. "Cissy" Wortman

Eileen J. "Cissy" Wortman, 94, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys, and formerly of 179 E. 4th Street, Emporium,
died on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Elk Haven Nursing Home following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 28, 1917 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Gervase and Kathryn Stockman Rigard.
She was married to the late Regis "Wheatie" Wortman, who preceded her in death in January 2000.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann, Mrs. Jay Schenck of Edinboro; two sons, William Wortman and his wife Gina of Bellefonte and Timothy Wortman and his wife Sherry of Huntington Beach, Calif.; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Priscilla "Teddy" Sterbank of St. Marys.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin, Gervase and Cletus Rigard; and two sisters, Evelyn Moriarity and Valerie Sulkowski.
Relatives and friends of Eileen J. "Cissy" Wortman are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 E. 4th Street, Emporium, on Monday, Jan. 9, 2012  at 11 a.m., with Fr. Paul Siebert as celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
