The Elk County Solid Waste Authority held their regular monthly meeting on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. in the Courthouse Annex building in Ridgway to further discuss plans for a new recycling facility, as well as new recycling options in the county.
The authority discussed options for several types of recyclable items that have been frequently asked about by residents. Many residents asked about recycling tires, which the authority does in the spring.
