Little baby boy Colton Michael Koch was born at 2:02 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2014, delivered by his dad, Dr. Steven Koch. No, not at home or in a car, he was, in fact born and delivered at Elk Regional Health Center. After waiting for 40 weeks and three long days, his proud parents, Dr. and Mrs. Steven and Jessica Koch, were happy to have a healthy baby, weighing 8 pounds, 1.8 ounces and 21.5 inches long. ERHC nurses who helped deliver Colton were Lisa Hanes, RN and Laura Lorenzo, RN. The family met with ERHC Maternity staff to allow staff to give the Koch family gifts from the St. Marys Chamber of Commerce, ERHC’s Peppermint Stick Gift Shop and ERHC Maternity staff members.
