Emanuela Costanzo, 89, of 314 First Avenue, Johnsonburg, died at her residence on Tuesday evening, Aug. 13, 2013, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 23, 1924 in Platania, Italy, daughter of the late Carlo and Giovana Perri. On Feb. 27, 1947 she married Michele Costanzo, and he survives. Formerly of Italy, she resided in Johnsonburg since 1953. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church and she loved baking and gardening. She was employed by Caldwell Decorators in Ridgway for several years. She had also worked as a seamstress for most of her life. In addition to her husband at home, she is survived by two sons, Frank Costanzo and his wife Jane of Hummelstown and Carl Costanzo of Johnsonburg; two daughters, Donna Costanzo of Ridgway and Deana, Mrs. Joseph Galati of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild; and a brother, Jasper Perri of Platania, Italy. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister in Italy. A Mass of Christian Burial for Emanuela Costanzo will be conducted at Holy Rosary Church in Johnsonburg on Saturday, Aug. 17 at 9:30 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. David J. Wilson, pastor. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. Friends will be received at the Anthony F.
