Emma L. Anderson

Emma L. Anderson, 80, of 1123 South Michael Rd., St. Marys, died at her home on Saturday, Aug. 31, 2013 following a lengthy illness.
She was born May 11, 1933 in Dagus Mines, a daughter of the late Charles and Lillian Colson Anderson.
She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was an avid reader and enjoyed taking long hikes in the woods. Together with her lifelong companion Pete, they frequented and enjoyed their friends at many local restaurants, including the Hilltop, the Corner Restaurant, the Benezette Store and Monica's. 
In addition to her lifelong companion, Raymond "Pete" Meyer, she is survived by a brother, Ronald Anderson and his wife June of Tennessee; numerous nieces and nephews including her niece and caretaker, Valerie, Mrs. Ronnie Senior of Kersey; and numerous great- and great-great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Gustie, Oscar, Carl and Albert Anderson; a sister, Annabelle Neureiter; and a niece, Mary Neureiter.
Private Graveside Services for Emma L. Anderson will be held at the Maria Lutheran Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
