Employee handbook draft draws criticism

Policy for city employees, specifically dealing with accumulated sick time, was met with criticism from council members during a recent St. Marys City Council meeting.Over the past several months City Manager Dave Greene has worked with Carol Muhitch, the city's finance director, and Lorrie Levenduski, city manager secretary, in creating an employee handbook. The handbook remains a work in progress as changes need made to it, however council was presented with a draft of the handbook for their review.
