Fire destroys Kersey home

FOX TWP. - The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal and the Fox Twp. Volunteer Fire Department report investigating the origin and cause of a fire that damaged a 14' X 56' mobile home at 113 Robin Rd. in Kersey on Monday at 1:05 p.m. Damage to the home, belonging to Dorthy McKinney, 73, was estimated at over $60,000. The cause of the fire was determined to be accidental in nature and the structure was considered a total loss.
The Crystal Fire Department assisted the Fox Twp. Volunteer Fire Department at the scene. The American Red Cross responded to the scene to assist the victim.
According to police, there were no injuries.
