Florence S. Lucanik

Florence S. Lucanik, 88, of 299 State St., St. Marys, died peacefully on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 4, 1925, a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica Englehart Wickett of St. Marys.
She leaves behind many loving family members and cherished friends. She enjoyed life and touched many lives with her warm spirit and genuine smile. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.
She is survived by a son, Ronald; two daughters, Karen and her husband Don Frank Jr. and JoAnn and her husband Kenneth Moran of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Ethel Buerk and Audrey Hillebrand and her husband Fred; two brothers, Clarence Wickett and his wife Mary Jane, and William Wickett, all of St. Marys; several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; and many special nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Lucanik; a sister, Rita Nyce Hillebrand; and two brothers, Bernard Englehart and Joseph A. Wickett.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Florence S. Lucanik will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Center Street, St. Marys, on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, as celebrant.
Family and friends may visit the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home, Center Street, St. Marys, on Tuesday, Dec. 17, from 5-8 p.m.
