Florence A. Walsh

Florence A. Walsh, 84, of 311 Pine St., St. Marys, died Friday, March 29, 2013, at her home, unexpectedly.
She was born April 1, 1928, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Frank and Marie Donahue Clonan. On June 26, 1948, in the Sacred Heart Church, she married Richard J. Walsh, and he preceded her in death on March 14, 1991.
Mrs. Walsh was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1946. She was a retired employee of the St. Marys Carbon Co., where she had worked for over 25 years. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Marconi and her husband David L. of St. Marys; two grandchildren, Michelle Sullenberger and David John Marconi; a great-granddaughter, Breanna Marconi; and by three sisters, Marie Schauer and her husband Richard of St. Marys, Kathleen Dybowski of St. Marys, and Lucille Jacob of DuBois.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, James Clonan, Francis Clonan, and in infancy Jerome Clonan.
Family and friends of Florence A. Walsh are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, April 4, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in the St. Mary's Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
Memorials, if desired, can be made to the Sacred Heart Church, 325 Center St., St. Marys, PA 15857.
The Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
