Former St. Marys teacher to be honored at Art in the Wilds

The 2014 Art in the Wilds (AIW) Committee is honoring one of its own for his distinguished art career and a lifetime of achievement as a master potter, art teacher and advocate for artists of the visual arts.
This Saturday, June 28 at the eighth annual AIW fine arts show in Evergreen Park in Kane, the AIW Committee will recognize and celebrate John Bloomquist’s career as an artist and art teacher, and, one who has had an incalculable impact on art and artists in our region and beyond.
