Frances A. Anderson

Frances A. Anderson, 96, a resident of Elk Haven Nursing Home and formerly of 105 David St., Kersey, died Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 at the Elk Regional Health Center after a brief illness.
She was born Dec. 30, 1916, in Kersey, daughter of the late Antolino and Josephine Stenta. On Aug. 3, 1935, in the Maria Lutheran Church, she married Andrew John Anderson, who preceded her in death on June 5, 1986.
Mrs. Anderson was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of Kersey High School, Class of 1934. She was a member of the Maria Lutheran Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Joy Singer of Kersey; three grandchildren, Robin Singer of Kersey, Dale Singer of Normal, Ill., and Michele Singer of Kersey; and one great-grandchild.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Mae Stenta; and two brothers, Ferdinand Stenta and Frank Stenta.
A memorial service for Frances A. Anderson will be held at a later date in the Maria Lutheran Church.
Burial will be in the Maria Lutheran Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
