Frederick C. "Porky" Breindel

Frederick C. "Porky" Breindel of Blasdell, N.Y., died Sunday, July 29, 2012.
Mr. Breindel was the son of the late William and Clara Lenze Breindel.
He was the beloved husband of the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Greenthaner) Breindel; loving father of Robert (Anne), Frederick Jr. (Carolyn), Ronald (Mary Colleen), Daniel (Lisa), David (Janet), James (Elizabeth), John (Debra) and Constance E. Breindel; brother of LaVern "Butch" (Helen) Breindel and Dorothy (Ludy) Bon and the late William (late Emma), Clara "Sis" (late Regis) Schatz, Leo "Boots" (late Marie) and Margaret Breindel; and is also survived by 24 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and many other family members and friends.
Mr. Breindel was a World War II Army veteran, past commander at American Legion Post #60, a member of the K. of C. Hamburg Council #2220, and Ford Stamping Plant retiree.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Frederick C. "Porky" Breindel was held at Our Mother of Good Counsel Church. Entombment took place at Holy Cross Cemetery.
