St. Marys resident Elizabeth Friedl recently addressed members of city council about a number of concerns involving city issues, including what responsibility the city has to subscribers of the Zito Media television service.
Mark Jacob, city solicitor, explained to Friedl that the city has a franchise agreement with Zito Media for the television service.
"Basically [Zito Media] pays the city for use of the lines within the right-of-ways of the city," Jacob said.
He added that, while it has been some time since he reviewed the agreement, he believed that the agreement allowed the company a specific about of time to correct certain complaints.
"If you would be able to document for us like when you called them and what the issue was and whether or not they did anything about it, Mr. Greene would be able to contact Zito Media," Jacob told Friedl.
