Gabler is asking Vietnam War-era veterans to contact his offices in St. Marys or DuBois to register for an event he is hosting to honor the men and women in his legislative district who served in any branch of the military during the Vietnam War era.

State Rep. Matt Gabler (R-Clearfield/Elk) will be holding a ceremony to recognize Vietnam War-era veterans in his legislative district and is asking area residents who served during that time to contact his office.
"What we're doing is we're putting out a call for all Vietnam veterans in the 75th District to just get ahold of us so we can make sure that we've got their name, their contact information," Gabler said. "We are working on getting the event together, but the details of the event will somewhat be driven by the number of responses that we get, and then we'll be ready at that point to put out invitations to each of the folks that contacted us.
