Gail F. (Facchine) Forbes

Gail F. (Facchine) Forbes, 65, of Greensburg, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 at home.
She was born on Aug. 6, 1947 in St. Marys, daughter of the late Guido and Mary Wurm Facchine.
Gail was a graduate of Elk County Christian High School and Seton Hill College. She received her Masters in Teaching at the University of Pittsburgh. She taught fourth grade and was the Instructional Support teacher at Mt. View School in Latrobe prior to retiring in 2004.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and PSEA. Along with her husband Tom, Gail enjoyed traveling and was able to visit all the lower 48 states. They also spent over 20 years traveling the rivers of Western Pa. on their boat, Gail Force. Happy hour with her friends was another favorite past time of Gail’s. She led a beautiful and fulfilling life, dedicated to her faith, family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Thomas C. Forbes; her sister, Joan M. Myers and husband Martin of Greensburg; a sister-in-law, Elizabeth Barber and husband Dr. Vance of Greensburg; a brother-in-law, John A. Forbes Jr. and wife Maxine of Greensburg; three nephews, Chad Myers and wife Jaime and their children Sam and Charlie of Mantau, N.J., Joshua Myers and wife Beth and their daughter Emma of Avon, Ohio, and Greg Barber of Arlington, Va.; a niece, Annie Breaux and husband Christopher of New York City, N.Y.; her 'dogter' Tici; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends of Gail F. Facchine Forbes are invited to celebrate her life from on Monday, Nov. 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Clement L. Pantalone Funeral Home, Inc. 409 W. Pittsburgh St., Greensburg, PA 15601, (724) 837-0020.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 6 at St. Emma's Cor Jesu Chapel, 1001 Harvey Ave., Greensburg-- please go directly to chapel. Interment will follow in St. Emma Monastery Cemtery in Greensburg.
