OX TWP. – Area residents now have a more convenient way of redeeming their Giant Eagle fuelperks! as the chain opened one of three new GetGo locations today in Fox Township. GetGo is located at the former site of Country Fair along the Million Dollar Highway across from Wal-Mart.
According to a press release issued on Monday by Giant Eagle, the location is one of three new GetGo convenience stores and fueling stations opening today. The other two locations are in Brookville and Titusville.
"The new GetGo locations will serve as the perfect complement to our supermarket shopping experience, delivering high-quality foods and fuel, and convenience services that meet our customers' needs," said Giant Eagle Vice President of Fuels and Convenience Dave Daniel in a release issued by the company. "Additionally, we're excited to make redeeming fuelperks! and earning fuelperks! more convenient than ever for area shoppers."
Also, according to the press release, "In addition to gasoline and diesel fuel pumps, the new GetGo locations ultimately will focus on fresh foods, including sandwiches, salads, wraps, premium-brand coffee and tea, made-daily baked goods, a complete selection of soft drinks, dairy products and frequently purchased grocery items."
"Our GetGo slogan is 'Get In, Get Out, Get Going," Daniel said. "But where many convenience stores stop at time savings, GetGo adds Giant Eagle's focus on quality fresh food."
According to Dick Roberts of Roberts Communications, the Fox Township GetGo location will have 15 store employees, all of whom, he indicated, were retained from the former Country Fair.
