Glenn T. Bauer

Glenn T. Bauer, 44, of 980 Windfall Rd., St. Marys, died unexpectedly Sunday, March 4, 2012 at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
He was born Feb. 14, 1968 in St. Marys, the son of Thomas A. and Joanne L. Catalone Bauer of Kersey, who survive. On Oct. 12, 1996 in the St. Leo’s Church in Ridgway, he married Connie S. Hammer, who survives.
Mr. Bauer was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1986. He was an employee of Mersen for the past 14 years. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is also survived by two sons, Nickolas G. and Brady T. Bauer, both at home; one brother, Michael S. Bauer (Linda) of Kersey; and by nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Richard Bauer, who died at birth; his maternal grandparents, Rocco and Rose Catalone; and his paternal grandparents, Andrew and Alice Bauer.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Glenn T. Bauer will be celebrated in the St. Mary’s Church on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Meinrad Lawson OSB, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery in Kersey. Full military rites will be accorded by the St. Marys Servicemen’s Burial Detail.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6-8 p.m.
