Gloria M. “Toot” Mulcahy

Gloria M. “Toot” Mulcahy, 87, of Orlando, Fla., and formerly of St. Marys, died Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 in Orlando.
She was born June 5, 1926 in Weedville, daughter of the late John and Louise (Crocco) Azzato. She attended Bennetts Valley Schools and was a lifelong resident of the area until 10 years ago when she moved to Orlando with her son Dale.
On Nov. 17, 1951, in the St. Joseph’s Church in Force, she married Allan E. Mulcahy, who preceded her in death on Nov. 15, 2000.
She is survived by two sons, Dale A. Mulcahy of Orlando, Fla. and Gary M. Mulcahy and his wife, Patty Longhi, formerly of Kersey and now Saginaw, Mich.; one grandson, Mitchell Mulcahy of Florence, Ky; two sisters, Mary “Dode” Azzato and Margaret “Magee” Azzato, both of St. Marys; and a brother, Frank Azzato and his wife Barbara of Weedville.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen “Honey” Allegretto, Natalie “Wink” Friedl, and Rose Addeo; and two brothers, Joseph and Raymond Azzato.
Mrs. Mulcahy had a passion for playing bingo, golf and the many years she spent working at the Bavarian Hills Golf Course in the Pro Shop. She was an employee of the Osram Sylvania Group for over 35 years when she retired.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Gloria M. “Toot” Mulcahy will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church on Thursday, Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, Pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Marys Cemetery.
Visitation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 29 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
