Governor write-in campaign using social media

September 4, 2014

Dave Naples

One man in Collegeville is trying to impact this year's governor election through a campaign driven solely through social media and the press.
Dave Naples, a 49-year-old resident of Collegeville, has started a write-in campaign for governor of Pennsylvania, which will run without any donated campaign funding.
Naples stated that his campaign started in response to the large amounts of money that are being spent by this year's candidates, incumbent Tom Corbett, and Tom Wolf, towards their campaigns.
"The amount of money that is being hurled at these things is ludicrous," Naples said.
