This year's South St. Marys Street Elementary Olympic Games marked the end of an era as Principal Bob Grumley celebrated his final games as he plans to retire at the conclusion of the 2014 school year.
Eleven years ago Grumley spearheaded a movement to host an Olympic Games at the school which has been going strong since.
The annual games have evolved into what has become the highlight of the year for many in the school and local community.
During the Opening Ceremony Grumley gave an emotional speech as he praised teachers, staff and parent volunteers for their efforts in making the games a continued success.
