Haas resigns as Conservation District chairman

Elk County Conservation District chairman Les Haas announced his resignation during last night's meeting.
The new chairman for the Elk Conservation District will be appointed at this morning's Elk County Commissioner's meeting at 10 a.m.
"I have learned that the commissioners can appoint someone to fill my position, so that will take place tomorrow [Tuesday] at the County Commissioner's meeting," said chairman Les Haas.
