Helen M. Cornelio

Helen M. Cornelio, 89, of Clearwater, Fla., died on Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2012.
She was born on March 9, 1923 in Fairmont, W. Va., daughter of the late Carmella and Ottavio Cornelio.
Following graduation, she worked at Sylvania for many years. She relocated to Puerto Rico, where she retired from the Navy Exchange and moved to Florida.
She like playing bingo and going to the casino. She loved her cats.
She is survived by one brother, Albert Cornelio; four sisters, Rose Garbic, Mary Bauer, Josephine Martin and Irene Hnath; nieces and nephews, especially her niece, Carmella and her husband, Butch Rupprecht, who gave her special care over the years and were "special angels;" and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Tony and Orester Cornelio; one sister, Teresa Feldbauer; two sisters-in-law, Jean Cornelio and Nadine Cornelio; and four brothers-in-law, George Garbic, Norbert Feldbauer, Paul Martin and Joseph Hnath.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen M. Cornelio will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Wednesday, Aug. 22 at 10 a.m., with Fr. Eric Vogt officiating.
