Helen A. Mitchell

Helen A. Mitchell, 87 of Blackberry St., Weedville, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at DuBois Regional Medical Center.
She was born on September 7, 1924 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Rock and Mildred (Supon) Rebic.
In 1948, she married John E. Mitchell. He preceded her in death in 1954.
She retired from Stackpole Carbon Company after many years of service.
She was a 1942 graduate of Central Christian High School in St. Marys.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force and enjoyed her family, Bingo, and sports.
She is survived by; two sons Ken Mitchell and his wife Deb of DuBois and Jack Mitchell and his wife Debi of Weedville; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers Joe, Rock, Max, Francis and John and four sisters Mary, Annie, Katie and Ceal.
A private family visitation will be held from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Helen A. Mitchell will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force with Fr. Thomas Tyler as celebrant.
Burial will follow in Morningside Cemetery.
