Helene M. Baumer

Helene M. Baumer, 96, of 147 Queens Rd., St. Marys, died on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 at Elk Haven Nursing Home.
She was born June 21, 1916 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Michael and Esther Haberberger Baumer.
She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1934.  She was a member of Queen of the World Church. 
She lived in New York City for 52 years and worked as a registered nurse. She moved back to St. Marys in 1992.
She is survived by a sister, Alice Fleming of St. Marys; and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers, Henry, Lawrence, George, James and Andrew Baumer and Frederick Baumer in infancy; and four sisters, Margaret Detsch and Caroline, Alice and Marian Baumer in infancy.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Helene M. Baumer which will be celebrated at the Queen Of The World Church, 134 Queens Rd., on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Michael Ferrick, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will follow the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
