Henry C. Friedl

Henry C. Friedl, 81, of Jersey Hollow Rd. in Little Valley, N.Y. ,died peacefully on Monday, Nov. 26, 2012.
He was born Sept. 29, 1931 in St. Marys, the son of the late Charles and Bertha (Wonderly) Friedl. He married Bonnie Hart-Friedl, who survives.
He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1953. He worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He was an avid outdoorsman and a member of the Little Valley American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Todd (Joliene) Friedl of Ridgway, and Thomas (Michelle) Friedl of Kersey; two daughters, Jean (Kevin) Friedl-Rawlins of Palm Coast, Fla., and Beth Friedl of Florida; four grandchildren, TJ, Danielle, Katie, and Suzanne; and two great-grandchildren, Jaxson and Chance. Also surviving are a brother, Raymond (Patricia) Friedl of Austin; a sister, Mary (Rodney) Salter of St. Marys; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Scott Friedl, and in infancy Mark Friedl; two brothers, Harry Friedl, and in infancy Earl Friedl; and a sister, Elsie Young.
Private family services for Henry C. Friedl will be held at a later date.
Memorials may be made to the Little Valley Ambulance Service.
Arrangements are under the direction of a Little Valley, N.Y. funeral home.
