Hootinanny to host Charity Pub Crawl

July 13, 2011

The year-long Straub Brewery Charity Pub Crawl hits the halfway mark on Thursday, July 14, when the Pub Crawl stops at the Hootinanny in downtown St. Marys.  Stop #6 begins at 8 p.m. with music by Custom Sounds, drink specials, charity cookout, pong tournament on the deck, special prizes and other activities-- and no cover charge. This also marks the public debut of the Hoot's new manager, Krista Dippold, who has worked closely with Straub Brewery to organize this midsummer Pub Crawl Stop. With hundreds already following the Pub Crawl and more joining each month, and more than 600 concert-style Pub Crawl T-shirts already sold, the Hootinanny promises to be another night to remember-- and all for the benefit of the Crystal Fire Department, Elk Co. Humane Society, Rotary Club of St. Marys and the Elk Co. Relay for Life. Shown left to right are Kim Hoffman, Jolene Weisner, Don “Flip” Bobenreith, Mary Anderson and Krista Dippold.
