Hutton Family Relief Fund concluding Friday at SMAHS Homecoming

October 21, 2010

The “Give What You Can” Campaign for the Hutton Family Relief Fund will conclude on Friday night at the Homecoming football game between SMAHS and Union. The game will be held at Dutch Country Stadium at 7 p.m. A collection bucket will be set up just inside the main entrance and patrons will be able to make a donation in any amount.
Over the past few weeks, SMAHS students and representatives have canvassed the community for donations to support the Hutton family of Weedville.  Jacob Hutton, a 12th grade student at SMAHS,  was killed in an automobile accident on Sept. 23, 2010. Twelve days later his father, Mark Hutton, passed away. In response to this tragedy, the SMAHS school community has come to the support of the surviving children: Sam Hutton, a sophomore at SMAHS, and Tiffany Hutton  (SMAHS Class of 2007).  Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
