Bus No. 99 encountered icy roadways on Thursday, at approximately 8 a.m., as it attempted to travel its regular route on East Condot Road in St. Marys. Observers report that as the bus crested the hill it began to slide down the road backwards eventually spinning perpendicular, blocking the road. The front end of the bus was stopped by a snow bank on the edge of a resident's front yard, narrowly missing a mailbox. The back end of the bus traveled off the road, lodging in a small wooded area. A tow truck was dispatched to the scene where it pulled the vehicle back onto the roadway from the front end of the bus.
