Improvement meets inconvenience on SR255 project

The general consensus of business owners along South St. Marys Street seems to be that the inconveniences are worthwhile in the end.
Steve and Kim Kunes, owners of Ace Auto, said that they lost 10 feet of their property to the state right-of-way but the retaining wall was rebuilt at no cost to them.
“We’re happy for the wall,” Steve said. “I wish they would have finished the wall and I wish they would have made the wall higher so I could have got some of my property back, but that’s the state. They took quite a bit.”
