Sign-ups are currently underway for this year's Inner Park Day at Memorial Park. The free event for children between the ages of 5-14 is scheduled for July 9 and will feature activities such as a pie eating contest, obstacle course, and hockey shoot. Participants must register by July 1 in order to receive a free Inner Park Day T-shirt; however, registration will continue until the morning of the event.
As park staff continue to prepare for Inner Park Day they are also seeking donations of items such as peanut butter, jelly, bread, fruit, cookies, paper plates, and plastic cups. To sign up for Inner Park Day or find out more information on the event, contact the park office at 834-9418.
