Elk County commissioners held off on any announcements pertaining to the acquisition of the Industrial Technical Education Center [ITEC] facility, but said Tuesday morning that a formal announcement will be made at their next board meeting Wednesday, May 18 at 10 a.m.
The facility will be used as the county's new 911 Center and the acquisition and relocation of equipment comes without any increases whatsoever to the county's taxpayers.
