James M. Fitzgerald, 60, of 105 E. Condot Rd., St. Marys, died at his home on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012, surrounded by his family.
He was born June 15, 1951 in Bradford, a son of William and Shirley Hokanson Fitzgerald of St. Marys.
On Sept. 2, 1972 in Johnsonburg, he married Barbara Williams Fitzgerald, who survives.
Jim was a member of the Tri-County Church of God in DuBois.Â He graduated from SMAHS, Class of 1969.Â He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in accounting.Â He had been employed by Airco Speer, Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceuticals and most recently at Allegheny Software.Â He had also owned his own business, EHS Innovators.Â
He had a great love and passion for music and enjoyed playing in secular and worship bands. He gave his all to his music, and his of love of music was reï¬ected by his service to the Lord and his passion for playing worship music.
In addition to his wife of nearly 40 years, Barbara Williams Fitzgerald, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer, Mrs. Brian Molnar of Johnsonburg; and three brothers, John Fitzgerald and his wife Lisa of St. Marys, Todd Fitzgerald of St. Marys, and David Fitzgerald and his wife Margie of Kersey.
Relatives and friends of James M. Fitzgerald are invited to attend a memorial service at the First United Methodist Church, 140 N. St. Marys St., St. Marys, on Friday, Feb. 17, 2012Â at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Chris Kindle, pastor, ofï¬ciating.Â Â There will also be a memorial service held at the Tri-County Church of God, 1881 Old 255 Rd., DuBois, on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2012 at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
There will be no visitation.
In lieu of ï¬owers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Nurses Hospice, 757 Johnsonburg Rd., Suite 200, St. Marys, PA 15857; the American Cancer Society; or to a charity of choice.
