Jeffrey J. (Dad) Erich

Jeffrey J. (Dad) Erich, 51, of Maple Ave., Ridgway, died Friday, April 20, 2012, at home, in the arms of his wife, leaving behind many broken hearts.
He was born Jan. 27, 1961, in Ridgway, the son of John and Judith Shipe Erich of Kersey.
He graduated from St. Marys Area High School, Class of 1979. He was employed at Morgan AM&T. He was an avid reader, and he was a big Steelers fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his life partner and wife, Sharon Meyer Erich, whom he married Sept. 24, 2011, on Virginia Beach, after being together for nine years. He is also survived by five sisters, Julie Maloney (Gerald) of Kersey, Jacqueline (Jake) Erich (Kathy Casale) of Ridgway, Jill Pritt (Arnold) of Kersey, Jean Lee (Paul) of Luthersburg and Jennifer Kahnell (Chad) of Kersey; three step-children, Amanda, Tyler, and Eddie Santaniello of Ridgway; five step-grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Jeffrey Erich will be held at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. James Faluszczak, pastor of St. Boniface Catholic Church, Kersey.
There will be no visitation.
Friends will be received at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service.
