Jerome V. Wickett

Jerome V. Wickett, 80, of Austin, and formerly of St. Marys, died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2010 at Elk Regional Health Center following a brief illness.
He was born Feb. 13, 1930 in St. Marys, a son of the late Leonard and Mary Kerchinski Wickett. He was married to Bertha Brennen Wickett, who survives.
Mr. Wickett attended St. Marys schools and was a member of Queen of the World Church.
In addition to his wife, Bertha Brennen Wickett, he is survived by three sons, William Wickett and his wife Susie of Florida, Gerald Wickett of St. Marys, and Jeffrey Wickett of Kersey; a daughter, Susie, Mrs. Tony Blalock of Florida; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Robert Wickett and his wife Barbara of Florida.
Relatives and friends of Jerome V. Wickett are invited to attend a memorial service that will be held at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 North Michael St., St. Marys, on Monday, Dec. 27 at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Eric Vogt, OSB, ofïŹciating. Burial will be in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation.
