Joan Hretzek

Joan Hretzek, 88, of Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys and formerly of Weedville, died Monday, July 16, 2012 at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born on Sept. 30, 1923 in Philadelphia, daughter of the late Alfred and Agnes (Falcone) Ritto.
She married Pater A. Hretzek, who preceded her in death on July 19, 1982.
Mrs. Hretzek lived most of her life in Philadelphia and many years with her son Perry in Weedville. She was a housewife and was Catholic by faith. She enjoyed shopping.
She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Baker of Florida; three sons, Jan (Colleen) Covington of Spring City, Jeffrey (Kathryn) Covington of Parker Ford, and Perry (Shirley) Hretzek of Weedville; three grandchildren, Christian, Ciera and Colin Covington; and two sisters, Rosalie DeMarcus of Philadelphia and Mary Anne Abrams of Los Altos, Calif.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Amy; and a son, Sonny Ritto.
Funeral services for Joan Hretzek will be held on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the St. Patrick Cemetery Main Chapel in Norristown.
Visitation is on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 12:30-1 p.m. at the St. Patrick Cemetery Main Chapel.
Interment will be at the St. Patrick Cemetery in Norristown.
