John J. "Jay" Lynch

John J. "Jay" Lynch, 48, of Dover Township, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at his residence after a courageous eight-month battle with cancer.
Born Nov. 26, 1965, in York, a son of Patrick E. and Mari-Louise (Papp) Lynch of Dover and Gardners, he was a 1983 graduate of York Catholic. He had worked as a bartender for Shiloh American Legion Post #791 for 17 years, and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Stoneybrook Camp, in Elk County, and Dover Camp, in Perry County.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lynch is survived by a brother, Mike Lynch, and his wife Lisa, of Dover; a sister, Christine M. Eberhart, and her husband Guy, of Virginia Beach, Va.; two nephews, JP Eberhart and Ted Eberhart; a niece, Jill Eberhart; and his longtime girlfriend, Lisa K. Golden, of Shiloh.
